Legendary knitwear company Coogi was founded in Toorak (Melbourne, Australia) by Jacky Taranto in 1969. Originally known as ‘Cuggi’ this Australian knitwear company, who pioneered innovative 3D knitting techniques, has been eulogised several times by rapper The Notorious B.I.G. and other musicians, including The Hilltop Hoods.

The 21st century has been a tale of mixed fortunes for the brand. It has gone through several owners and their range has expanded well beyond the celebrated knitwear. Most collectable (and wearable) is the knitwear produced in Australia and Mr Smart is proud to have a selection available.
